It was (is) payday weekend and boyfriend also got his leave conversions, having turned one year as an employee of the company. This meant shopping for us both. :)
I got a pair of jeans and a polo shirt top, boyf got pants too. We also got a blouse as a belated birthday gift for her mom.
I have a Multiply account that is mostly used to access friends' Multiply pages, and the online stores that abound there. I saw this high havs that I wanted to order, and checkered wedges. I was already determined to purchase them, until I saw alternatives at the mall.
The pumps really looked like the one on the online store, except for the print. It's about 110 pesos cheaper though. :) The havs I wanted from the online shop had a different color. It was good that Rustan's had stocks of that one because I was able to see that the color does not match my skintone! I got a purplish one instead and I love it! :)
I've already worn both on my weekend shifts. My feet didn't hurt despite having to walk around a lot. Specially on Saturday night.
Aside from our stuff, we bought supplies for little Zune too. He now has his own bed!
He still doesn't sleep on it though. He sleeps next to it. He's using it like a pillow! I told boyf on Friday that we could just get him a big bone pillow since he loves his small pillow to pieces. He said no because it isn't a proper bed. So we got this one instead.
So far, he hasn't used it for actual sleeping, but he's exploring and getting more familiar with it as the days go.
When we brought it home on Saturday, the kids D and E came over and played with Zune and helped him check out the bed. E actually tried it for himself!
We had problems buying canned food for him though. For the past month, he's loved eating the canned food we got on sale from his vet, Science Diet. Since it was on sale, to clear stocks before the expiration date, we were able to buy without a problem. We still mixed it with dry food though. Now that they are out of the sale stocks, I found out exactly how expensive it's going to be to maintain him on it. So we're slowly trying other good alternatives. We'll also wean him back to having more dry food than canned, since it's more packed with protein and nutrients.
I got a copy just this afternoon.
I have not started reading yet, but I will tonight. Or maybe tomorrow.
On a different note...
We took Zune for a grooming session on Friday and we decided to have his hair cut really short.
He looks more like a puppy now than he did the first time he came home! hahah :)

Esban took this picture on the right. He was
plonked down on the floor right in front of zune to take pictures. That boy really has the eye for good pictures. This must have been taken on Zune's first or second day home.
Zune in his kennel. He doesn't really like it in there. He prefers running around our small house. Every now and then he is in there for his own good.
He has a favorite spot though, his own nook. It is between two bookcases, a small corner all to himself. He hasn't been staying there much this week though, I think he's exploring a new "corner" so to speak.
Doesn't he look so cute and tiny sleeping? This was taken on his first week home. He is so much bigger now! He's four months old already and has really grown.
Now below are photos of his first bath. He was very well-behaved. It was fun giving him a bath. And he loved having his hair combed down. Stress-free for all concerned, I daresay. :)
We took him to the groomer's at the end of Feb. They gave him a good cleaning all over and a free haircut too. His eyes really shown :) Had a much needed trimming on the nails too. This was just prior to his anti-rabies shots.
He loves a good belly scratching and asks for one every chance he gets. When he sleeps, sometimes he still looks like he's dreaming about a scratching. These last photos are of him sleeping! The photos were taken a few seconds apart. I was on the sofa watching my TV series (during my vacation) and when I glanced right below me, there he was sound asleep. I just had to take photos :)
our new baby will be coming home soon. yes, it's the pup whose picture i posted here the last time around. He's a 2 1/2 month old Shih Tzu. The breeder will be dropping him off in a few hours. I'm excited.
We're naming him Zune. Our last dog was named iPod. We still miss iPod, but i know he's doing so much better in dog heaven. I just hope I will do much better by Zune. That he'll have a healthier and longer life :)
